During the month of May 2025, Improv Queensland brought back our award winning interactive show, A Murder at the Bowlo and hit the road for a three show run during the 2025 Anywhere Festival Moreton Bay.
As improvisers, we love to perform. It’s not a shocking statement to declare that most of us a pretty comfortable in front of an audience. But what about when when we’re in the audience? We’ve all been there. There’s a certain set of conflicting emotions and states of mind that we experience when we’re watching, and not performing.
At first glance, meteorologists and improvisers might seem like they have little in common—one predicts the weather, the other creates theatre out of thin air. But when you look closer, both professions revolve around anticipating the unpredictable, adapting in real time, and keeping an audience engaged no matter what comes their way.
