Teacher of the Month: Glenn Seaby
Topic of the Month: Space To Pretend In
Spatial awareness elevates your scene work. This workshop explores discovering things in space and utilising them. If you’re new to improv it will add a new dimension to your scenes. If you’re an old hand, it will help you play with greater realism and just maybe stop you walking through that table your scene partner interacted with moments ago.
About Your Teacher: Glenn’s foray into improv began in 2015 with an improv class. Since then he has been fully immersed in the artform regularly performing with Improv Queensland and Big Fork Theatre. Glenn has performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Brisbane Comedy Festival, the Anywhere Festival, the Brisbane Improv Festival, the Auckland Improv Festival and Bris Funnyfest. Shows and formats he has helped create include “Around the Campfire” (An Anywhere Festival People’s Choice winner), “The Boring Show”, “Ho Hum Musical Improv” and “Blokes”.
