TEACHER OF THE MONTH: Glenn Seaby
TOPIC OF THE MONTH: Awareness
Good improvisers are aware of their scene partner. Great improvisers are also aware of themselves. Through this 'awareness' we become more present on stage - more fun to play with and to watch!
This class will explore:
1. Self-Discovery:
We’ll kick off by looking at self-awareness. What unique habits, quirks, and tendencies do you bring to your performances? Are there patterns you’ve never noticed before?
2. Partner Dynamics:
Improv is a team sport. We’ll do scenes and exercises that will heighten your awareness of scene partners. What are they really saying? How can you support each other?
No matter your level, this workshop will strengthen your ability to listen, react, and build off your fellow performers.
