This is the second class in Improv Queensland’s series on musical improvisation and builds on the core skills of approaching improvised songs learned in Musical Improv.
The Song of the Scene teaches how improvised songs can be developed from the offers within the scene, strengthening and heightening the characters and stories being performed on stage. It will explore the use of chorus, duets and other musical theatre tools that can take improvised songs to the next level.
The course will be taught by Luke Rimmelzwaan and Robert Zosars (on piano).
