Ella Humphries

Ella is an improviser, actor and writer based in Meanjin. Since starting Theatresports at school in 2018, she has adored the feeling of coming on stage with no idea of what her next line will be. In high school, Ella’s team came second in the Impro Australia Senior Highschool Theatresports state final, and was the sole recipient of Lyn Pierse’s CROWE award. Since commencing study at QUT in a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting), Ella has performed as part of the MELT, Brisbane Improv, Anywhere, Freshblood and Singapore Improv Festival as an improviser. In 2024, she was accepted into Improv Queensland Sandbox cohort, and has since become a member of our Core Performance Ensemble.
