Every Thursday in September ImproMafia will be taking the stage at Backbone Youth Arts to bring you Theatresports games plus a selection of creative, experimental new shows developed by its artists.

Theatresports is a tradition in Brisbane. It is a comedy battle royale, where teams of performers will use audience suggestions to craft moments of spontaneous delight, action and drama. It's fast, fierce and funny as hell, and features some of the best and brightest improvisors in Brisbane.

Our Theatresports competition will then be followed by totally new shows in ImproMafia's unique long-form style. Expect anything from romantic comedies, to monsters, musicals and murder.
